Left or Right Side?

I mentioned in my last post, that I tend to experience more palpitations when I lay on my left side before falling asleep. So, I usually find relief when I flip over and lay on my right side. I've heard conflicting thoughts about whether to lay on your left or right side. I'm of the mind, you do what works best for you.

But since I'm curious, do you find a better side to relieve heart palpitations when you lay down? I'd love to hear from you.

The right side vs. the left side???

I have always slept much better on my right side, even when pregnant. And whenever I have palpitations, due to thyroid issues or pregnancy, lying on my left side seems to make them worse. Kind of interesting, I guess.

Does ur pvc's ever present in bigeminy form since u are pregnant? I have had lots of pvc's (as well as SVT and sinus tach) prior to pregnancy. I'm 25 weeks now and for the last 4 weeks, I keep getting constant episodes of bigeminy and trigeminy. Really scaring me to death!

Funny you should post this. I just commented on this in my most recent post. I'm sorry to hear that you have been experiencing bi- and trigeminy. No fun. But it's pretty cool that we are so close in our pregnancies and experiencing some similar stuff. Do you feel that your pvc's are stress related? It appears that you have at least one other child. I'm sure that makes it even harder to be pregnant and have to take care of a little one. I assume you've been all checked out. In that case, try to just accept the nasty bouts, take care of yourself, drink plenty of water, and BREATHE. You will be okay. You've had them in the past (even before you got pregnant), your experiencing them now, and you will have them again in the future. Don't fight them. They will pass when you let them go. Let me know how you are doing. Be well.

Thank you for replying. Yes, I have 1 other child, a girl that is 4. And I'm 27 weeks with another girl! I've had PVC's for the last 4 years but this is the first time they have been in bi and tri. Mine are happening about 50% of my waking hours, usually in trigeminy. I think it's just stress from the pregnancy. And yes, I have been checked out and have a healthy heart. I would never wish these on anybody but it's nice to not feel soo alone and know someone else understands. Thanks again and keep in touch!
